PROGRAMS
Regardless of the
program you choose (residential courses, courses at the ALLC,
courses in-company or courses online), the program has been divided
into 10 modules of approximately 30 hours of class time each:

Module 1: Principiante I
- Module 2: Principiante II
- Module 3: Básico I
- Module 4: Básico II
- Module 5: Intermedio I
- Module 6: Intermedio II
- Module 7: Intermedio-alto I
- Module 8: Intermedio-alto II
- Module 9: Avanzado I
- Module 10: Avanzado II
Once you reach the 7th module, you have
the opportunity to attend either of our 2 specialized courses.

To advance one level (or module), you
should attend approx. 30 hours of class. Depending on the program,
you can achieve this in 2 to 8 weeks. If you attend a residential
course, you will advance one level in less than half of a week, and
be speaking Spanish in less than 2 weeks. For more information,

Before starting class, your Anders Languages advisor, in
consultation with you, will determine your language learning goals.
You will also be asked to participate to a 10-minute take-in test,
which will evaluate your current Spanish level. This is to make sure
you are assigned to the appropriate level of group. This take-in
test can be taken online or just before starting classes.

CROSS CULTURAL AWARENESS
 Learning
a new language also means understanding the cultural context of the
words, a new set of cultural norms, that are inexorably intertwined with
the language.
Your language training
can be enhanced with the CROSS-CULTURAL AWARENESS PACKAGE developed by
CONtext. We recommend this package for those who are planning to live in
a Spanish speaking country, as well as for those who manage multi-cultural
organizations, or who wish to engage in international politics or
business. In this course, you will receive basic instruction to heighten
awareness about cultural differences so as to avoid any cultural faux
